Today I'm posting about 5 tips about using Aloe Vera for skin care.
As we all know Aloe Vera is a cactus plant that belongs to the  Liliaceae family. It grows in a dry climate and has been used medically for centuries. Aloe Vera leaves secrete a clear gel that when broken off  from the rest of the plant that can be applied topically to heel wound and soothe skin.
Aloe Vera is effective in treating a verity of skin condition from flaky or dry skin, cosmetic aliments, hair and scalp problems to many more.

5 tips about using Aloe Vera for skin care:

1. Cucumber Aloe Vera face mask (for oily skin):

Take 1/2 cucumber and peel it, take out the seeds and cut it in piece. Now take 2 tablespoon aloe vera gel and blend it with cucumber in a food processor until it becomes nice smooth paste. Apply it on the face and leave it for 30 minutes then rinse it.
This mask hydrates and soothes. The cooling and cleansing cucumber softens and makes your skin suppler. This pack is so useful for acne ridden, inflamed and stressed out skin.

2. Yogurt Aloe Vera face mask (for all skin type):

Take 2 tablespoon Aloe Vera gel, 3 tablespoon fresh cucumber juice and 1 tablespoon yogurt. Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Apply for 15 minutes on face then wash it off.

3. Honey Aloe Vera face mask (for acne prone skin):

To prepare this you need fresh Aloe Vera leaf and honey. Take the leaf and wash it and then cut it into very small sized pieces. Now take half a litter water in a pan. Put the cut leaf pieces in the water and keep it on the stove on low boil.Let the mixture boil for 15 minutes. After this take it off the stove. Remove the pieces from water and immediately add about 4 tablespoon of honey to the hot water. Let the honey get dissolved in the water.
After about an hour or so when the mixture has cool down apply it on acne affected skin for about 15 minutes. After that wash off with a mild cleanser. See to it that the face mask is completely removed otherwise it can lead to skin irritation in some cases. Apply this once a week to get rid of acne and pimples.

4. Aloe Vera face mask (for sun damaged skin):

Take 2 tablespoon Aloe Vera juice, 1/2 tablespoon Aloe Vera gel and 2 drops of rose essential oil. Mix it properly and apply it on the sun damaged area and to the skin areas exposed to the sun. Let it remain for 10 minutes and then wash it off.

5. Facial Scrub:

Take 2 tablespoon of Aloe Vera juice, 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1/2 tablespoon of milk and mix them together in a bowl. Apply it on the face and remain for 15 minutes. After that pat some warm water on the face and remove the mask by rubbing your skin in circular motion. In the end remove the remaining mixture with cold water and pat dry.
